Post-Training Performance Evaluation

Post-Training Performance Evaluation

Prove that training made a difference.

We return after the training to measure what changed on the job and in your KPIs, and we show you the improvement, the remaining barriers and the next steps.

Overview

Training only matters if it changes how people work. Some weeks or months after a programme ends, we return to measure what has stuck and what it has achieved. Following the recognised four-level evaluation approach (reaction, learning, behaviour and results), we gather feedback from participants and their managers, assess the knowledge gained, observe how skills are applied on the job, and compare your key performance indicators with the baseline set during the pre-training gap analysis.

Why measure beyond satisfaction?

Most training is evaluated with a feedback form on the last day. That tells you whether participants enjoyed the course, not whether anything changed. At ConsulRain we measure the impact of training on our clients’ performance, not on their satisfaction alone. That is how training stops being a cost and becomes an investment you can justify.

The four levels we measure

LevelWhat we measure
1. ReactionParticipants’ satisfaction and the relevance of the programme
2. LearningKnowledge and skills gained
3. BehaviourWhether participants apply what they learned on the job
4. ResultsThe effect on business KPIs such as productivity, quality, errors, sales or customer satisfaction

Where reliable data are available, we can also estimate the financial return on the training investment.
